Ten years after viewers witnessed Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy wed on Bethenny Getting Married, the couple’s relationship has been the subject of media coverage.
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy successfully finished their divorce proceedings last year. The development of their daughter Bryn was discussed on WWHL by a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City.
On the May 19 edition of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the Real Housewives of New York City alum was asked about her and her ex Jason Hoppy’s views on co-parenting their 12-year-old daughter Bryn. The adolescent seems to be doing well overall.
Does Jason Hoppy see his daughter?
Bethenny is no longer compelled to provide Jason with child support, according to the judge. Page Six reports that a judge agreed with Bethenny’s new attorney Allan Mayefsky that she shouldn’t be required to give Jason any money. The court based its decision on the grounds that their daughter has chosen to spend most of her time at Bethenny’s home and that she doesn’t spend much time with her father. They ruled that since Bethenny had been designated as Bryn’s primary carer, she was no longer compelled to pay Jason. Bethenny also requested that a new co-parenting schedule be devised to better represent Bryn and where she wanted to live.
Currently, Bryn is bound by a shared parenting agreement, which calls for her to divide her time equally between her parents.
